We welcome international students into all our courses. Currently we have international students from China, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, The Philippines, Vietnam, Korea, Singapore, Japan, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Norway, the United States, Finland, Germany, France and Spain.
Entry Requirements
Overseas students must study full-time to meet visa requirements. They must have an undergraduate degree and a certain minimum level of proficiency in English. Admission Requirements International Students contains specific information about admission to the Graduate Diploma and Master programs.

English Language Requirements
You need a score of 6.5 on the IELTS scale (6 for writing).
TOEFL requirements are a TOEFL paper-based score of 575 (computer-based 231) overall with TWE of 4.5.

Studying Abroad
We offer overseas postgraduate students the chance to study for one or two semesters in Sydney, where our campus is centrally located. These subjects can then be credited to your degree at your home university (make sure you seek permission well before you want to study here). A full-time study load is necessary for visa requirements. We also encourage local students to study abroad as part of the UTS Student Exchange program. UTS has student exchange agreements with over 100 universities in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Not all universities will offer the range and depth of postgraduate education in multimedia that UTS does, but if you choose one that suits your needs, it is an excellent opportunity to enrich your postgraduate education with an international perspective.
